for an old diner downriver, i thought this place was pretty good. it had seen better days, but someone was keeping it nice and clean inside. my club sandwich had sliced turkey and ham (not store bought) with crisp bacon. couldn't ask for more from a club. the mashed potatoes had lumps and were made from scratch not a box. my companions hot turkey sandwich also had the hand cut turkey, which was very moist. not bad for family dining. love, juston

Service was horrible . Food was put together like a child would do it and the staff was rude and really didn't seem to want to help anyone and waitress don't know the prices at all ! There food is always cold and need to keep it a little cleaner.

When I decided to order out Sunday breakfast today, I wondered if Cameo may be cheaper than my usual place. I remembered going here once before, but it was over 10 years ago so I don't remember the quality of the food. Once I came to Yelp and saw the picture of the $3.95 omelette special all week, I was sold. So I call to order my western omelette, and ask how much it is. She says $5.25, and not wanting to start an argument, I just said ok. The picture was a year old, so maybe they didn't have the special anymore. I arrive 10 minutes later to pick it up, and I see the exact same sign in their window as I'm walking in. So when the girl at the register tells me $5.78, I ask about the omelette special for $3.95. Her reply was "that's Monday through Friday. There's no specials on Sunday." I thought it was odd, because I was almost certain that it said Monday through Sunday, but again I didn't want to argue. I paid, and left... and then saw the MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY sign in their window as I left. I'm not a confrontational person, and considering the cashier wasn't particularly friendly, it wasn't worth it for me to go back in and try to get my $1.50 back. I'd rather take the loss, move on, and let them lose out. They won't be getting my repeat business, nor will I be referring anyone there. The food was average for a local diner. Service however, was a little below average. As I mentioned, the cashier wasn't exactly friendly. She wasn't rude either, but just not very personable. When I ordered on the phone, she asked if I wanted hash browns or american fries. I said american fries, and after arriving home I discovered I still got hash browns. They were very buttery, but not bad. Glad I asked for them well done. The omelette was pretty good. Definitely fresh, but I was annoyed that the ingredients weren't very well spread out. The green pepper was all on one side of the omelette, while onion was all on the other side. There was a good amount of ham, but it was the cheap ham that's almost like a hash. While the food was a solid average at 3 stars, this place gets 2 stars because I really dislike shady places. And to me, advertising a special in a huge sign in your window and then refusing to honor it when asked is very shady. Skip this place, go to Six Star at Fort and Eureka. That's my regular place. While it's a little more expensive, it's still very reasonable and the waitstaff is awesome. Food is also much better! They also honor their specials.

I have been here several times and there is nothing bad about the food, it is just average. The pros are the place is very clean and they have excellent breakfast specials. The cons, at dinner I kept getting the same grouchy waitress. When I heard they opened at 6 am, I decided to try it again. 2. Of the 3 times I was there either the waitres or the cook was late. This last time I had to go to McDonalds so I wasn't late for work so I don't think I will be going back. I give it 3 stars instead of 2 just because of the great beeakfast specials. Don't show up at 6 am though if you are in a hurry.

The best under 10 dollar breakfast for 2 people, u get 4 eggs lots of hash browns, incredible ham or bacon, your choice of bread and 2 drinks all for like $9.50. The staff is friendly and fast, they always give u refills without asking. We go there at least once a week for an early breakfast , plus they have great lunch specials too try there chicken club. Nice lil place.

This is a run of the mill diner. It feels as if it's stuck in the 70's. For us, the downside is that it is not non-smoking - be prepared to reeck of smoke when you leave (if there are smokers already there). The food is acceptable with the portions definitely not being skimpy. Depending on when you go, service can be spotty sometimes....
